BC vs Edmonton CFL Betting?
Headline: Lions Travel to Edmonton to Take on Reeling Eskimos
The top team in the West and the CFL for that matter, the BC Lions head Northeast this Saturday to take on a team battling for playoff positioning the Edmonton Eskimos. The Lions won their sixth game in seven weeks at home last Saturday against the Argos – too close for comfort for many while the Eskimos likely threw out the tape of their Week 12 game – an ugly 51-8 loss at Hamilton.

These two teams always play each other tough – it should be yet another exciting installment of the series on Saturday!
The BC Lions appear to have everything going in their favor ahead of their Saturday clash. Their only hiccup of the last seven weeks was a road loss to their main Eastern Division rival Montreal. Last week was a 28-23 win against Toronto at home.
Travis Lulay continued his assault on the record books last week with a 390 yards, two touchdown performance. He now has a streak of 22 straight games with a TD pass – second all-time ahead of Anthony Calvillo and Doug Flutie.
He was able to find all of his weapons in the win – Geroy Simon woke up to the tune of 117 yards, Shawn Gore had 96 yards and Arland Bruce finished with 55 yards.
With three top notch receiving options and Andrew Harris continuing to impress out of the back field, it is difficult to imagine anyone slowing the Lions train down right now.
The defense was solid as per usual last week. They bent but didn’t break. Toronto’s late rally in the game may serve as a wakeup call for a unit that had been dominating but fell asleep for a spell in the second half.
The Edmonton Eskimos were humiliated last week to the tune of 51-8. They were forced to use three quarterbacks due to injury and ineffectiveness. Steven Jyles, Kerry Joseph and Matt Nichols all saw time against Hamilton in that ugly performance.
It looks like Steven Jyles should start this week but anything is possible!

Together the QB’s went 25-44 for 357 yards and zero TD’s last week, mostly in garbage time when the game was out of hand.
Edmonton received some good news prior to last week’s game – Jerome Messam returned to the team after failing to make an NFL roster. He and Hugh Charles make up a formidable backfield but if the Eskimos can’t keep the game close, their effectiveness will certainly be limited.
Edmonton`s defense has been nothing to write home about this season.
Last week they allowed 571 yards of offense to a previously struggling Hamilton offense. Edmonton will have their hands full this week for sure against an offense that is in tip-top form.
